Unleashing the Power of Fury: How Hooves of the Mountain God Work in Practice

When equipping Hooves of the Mountain God, it’s crucial to understand exactly how the item functions. On paper, the bonus looks simple: “Basic Skills cleave and deal up to 100% more damage when at max Fury.” But in actual gameplay, this transforms the way you approach combat Diablo 4 Items.

First, it incentivizes you to hit maximum Fury as quickly as possible. Skills like Frenzy, with high attack speed and rapid Fury generation, become the centerpiece of your build. Once at full Fury, the boots activate their cleave bonus, turning every swing into a wide-area AOE attack.

Then, the rapid Fury drain begins. This adds an element of timing and strategy: when do you go all in? When do you back off to rebuild Fury? The boots reward smart pacing and cooldown management. Players who stack Fury generation bonuses and synergistic gear can stay in this empowered state longer, maximizing damage output.

The cleave effect itself allows you to hit multiple enemies in front of you with each Basic attack—something that most Basic Skills normally lack. This makes Hooves of the Mountain God ideal for crowd control, elite packs, and densely packed Nightmare Dungeons buy Diablo 4 gold.

In essence, these boots turn you into a whirling death machine—but only for short bursts. Learning how to extend those bursts, or how to sync them with other cooldowns, is what separates the average Barbarian from the great.
