Pinpoint Pitching in MLB The Show 25 – Worth the Grind?

I finally committed to learning Pinpoint pitching in MLB The Show 25, and let me just say—it’s 100% womlb 25 stubsrth the grind.

At first, it was frustrating. The timing, the motion memorization, and the fact that each pitch has its own unique pattern made it feel more like a rhythm mini-game than a pitching mechanic. But once you get used to it, it’s insanely powerful.

What I love most is how much control you have. You can literally paint corners or aim for those borderline spots to induce weak contact. I’ve been getting so many more strikeouts with Pinpoint compared to when I used Meter. It punishes sloppy inputs but rewards consistency in a big way.

For those wondering if they should switch from Meter or Classic to Pinpoint, I’d say do it if:

You like mastering timing-based systems.

You want full control over pitch location and movement.

You play on higher difficulties or online, where precision is key.

It’s not for everyone, and the learning curve is real. But once you get over that hump, it’s the most rewarding pitching method in the game, hands down.

Anyone else struggling to get the hang of Pinpoint early on? I can drop some tips if needed.
